hey what kind of pipe and what diameter is used to make a exhuast stack on a briggs I/C 16.5hp single cylinder??? thanks guys!

For pipe, you can use anything as long as its not plastic.

You will need to find the diameter yourself. To do that, you can look up parts for your model number, or take a tape measure (or analog/ digital caliper for better results) to find the inside diameter of the hole. I believe threading is fairly universal for exhaust.

If it a flange exhaust system, its a matter of either finding a flange that will fit your model or making one from scratch.

I used 1 inch steel hydraulic tubing. My brother ownes a hydralic store so i used his tube bender and made a custome exaust. Runs down under right foot board and turns out in front of the rear tire. If its an OHV motor its not threaded so you will have to make a flange or cut the old one off and weld it on. I used a 4 doller screw in muffler from TSC to quietner down some.
