Well i didnt cut it good enough but ill just fill it in with weld lol



Tacked into place then welded




My steering was a bit sloppy feeling so i narrowed it down to the tie rod bushings

:O THERE PLASTIC time to fix that

much better rubber is 10x better then plastic

Lemme know how that rubber works out. Ive been contemplating replacing mine with either brass or making ends myself.

thats just temp for now i plan on making my own tie rod with ball joints on the ends so i can run a bolt thru

Our tractors have been fitted with all heim style tie rods... so far they appear to be way sturdier than stock.

I plan making all new steering rods with 1in round tube and heim joints so i wont have steering issues again.

Either use solid round bar stock in the 3/8"-1/2" range, or a heavy wall tube in the 1/8"-3/4" range. If you can get it, gas pipe (either 1/4" or 3/8" Sch40) is a good sturdy choice.

Where can I get those rod ends your talking about?? I went to tractor supply and didn't find anything small enough.

That's odd. We have Tractor Supply, and they have them here... Did you check the hydraulics section?

Also, any GOOD fastener store will have them.

about that smogpump supercharger figure a 1:1 ratio will be good enough and the fuel issue im still trying to figure that out

Yea, ill look I found some, but only like 1" ID ones.

take a look at mcmaster carr, they seem to have everythiing, just takes some looking

sarge has 13" 1/4 of ground clearance after i cut off the rest of the deck hardware that hung down from the front axle

Got some good clearance.
Ill have more clearance on my mower but i got to get the bigger tires on it.

ill have around 4" more of lift when i raise the front axle

Yeah i will have somthing like 20" of clearance when i put the bigger tires on front and cut the deck hanger of the axle.
Right now i have like 10" from the grond to the axle ill have to measure it to be sure.

i did some messurements again and ill have 16" 1/2 i the front with lift kit and in the rear front the bottom on the transaxle ill have 12" with new tires a the foot boards it will be 27" total i dont wanna have a monster mower just wanna make it where i can get thru my creek trails with out bottoming out
