I'm making my 91 simplicity a mild mod.

I already put a 5" pulley in the back and put 20x10-8's in the back instead of the stock 18x8-8's.

Next things to do is get a 5" front pulley make a better wireing system to handle my car battery make a hood and bigger front tires and before winter buy some 22" nobbys for the back. Very Happy

Bu the way it is now she runs great and drives smooth at around 10-15mph, hoping for 20 even with the bigger front.

I'll take a vid tomorrow!

Sounds cool - i look at my 69 simplicity sometimes like it could be a 'pro street' tractor - has these really wide rear tires real close together - and thats stock. Its too cool of a tractor to hot rod tho.

Quick update.
Last night on e-bay i bought two brand new 22x11-8 atv tires for the back of it.
And i'm putting the stock 18x8-8 tires on the front.

I also rode her around a bit today too, doing some rock climbing and stuff.

My belt is a bit tight so my clutch does not work but i'm not fixing that untill i make up my ming on what pulley is going on the front.

Still wish i could post regular pics like everyone else.

Looks good man (: Front wheels give it plenty ground clearance.
Paint finish is real good too, almost gonna be a shame to mud it. Definatly a good tractor to use, I had a Simplicity 4212 like that, really solid machine!

Wel.., i got my front pulley on and a bigger belt so i guess i can call this project done, but we all know they are never really done! Razz
Anyways she runs great and i'd say she goes around 20mph.
I'm very happy with this.
And amazingly it was a quick build! cheers

Oh this tractor brings back some memories. We had the identical tractor (stock of course) when I was a kid. I always thought it was odd it had the clutch on the right side instead of left like most tractors.
