| I'm going to make a custom hitch modeled after a trucks. heavy angle iron on the inside side of the chassis and then a reverse drop hitch and then a 2 inch ball. this shows some good ideas for me to do it. | |

| I just drilled the center of mine out found a bolt long enough and just bolt it through the factory hole and I just unbolt it when I want to pull a garden trailer | |

| not really factory i would be fired with my welding , the company would go broke with all the grinding disks i go through, i bouught the recever but built the mount. most of the things i built for the sears is bolt on.

| Honestly I don’t think those welds look that bad. Yeah there’s going to be spatter from the kind of rod or wire you’re using but your travel speed and bead size look pretty consistent.
I’m a big fan of bolt-on components too. I want to build a bolt-on bumper/receiver for both of my tractors. I have retirement dreams of restoring my C-81 30 or 40 years from now, and I’d much rather unbolt stuff instead of getting out the torches or grinder. | |

| Welds dont unbolt very easily.  Never know, might decide you need something else put on there... like a potato cannon! | |
