Hey everyone. New member from the Midlands of South Carolina. I am brand new to working on riding mowers all together and I am excited to start my build! I had considered buying an ATV to get around a little quicker on our farm (and maybe carry a few items at the same time), but I realized I had a riding mower sitting that needed new tires and the cutting deck was bad on. I figured I could modify it a little fairly cheaply (compared to buying an ATV) to get what I needed.

Welcome!  The forums are a little slow right now.  It's the busy season here and there but there are a couple of us on pretty frequently.  Should pick up soon.  Converting a rider to do what you need is pretty common!  It can be fun in the process!  You can customize it to do whatever you need!

Post some pictures if you like! If you need help in that dept, a good page for that info HERE!

Welcome! Yeah mowers are great because they're so cheap and easy to modify. You can swap pretty much anything into them and really build something unique. Tires will always be the most expensive part, so try to build around that. The whole thing should cost less than 200 bucks if you are patient
