my suggestion is make some custom lenses i cant even find that style of hood anymore

I'll probably put some light bars or something in there... KCs maybe?

I’ve run the stud mounted equivelent on my rear fenders for about 6 months now and they’ve been exposed to snow, pressure washing, mud, rain, cold weather and zero issues whatsoever. Nice lights and I see no sense in expensive name brand light bars now.

Good to hear that those Nilights work well. I just got a pair that mount with brackets.

Nice... is that an MTD frame? Those frames have more holes than swiss cheese...

i dont think it is i would assume it is not since the tractor is not a MTD.

Your tractor is made by AYP (American Yard Products) for Western Auto and labeled as Wizard so you know.

Well now that's not nice or fair...maybe some of the newer models from the later 90s/2000's and up are but neither of my MTD models are swiss cheesed, I have 1 from the late 60's and 2 from the 80's and even the ones from the 80's are pretty rugged.

I always thought they had to have the vairydrive system in order to be a MTD... (never really did much looking int MTDs)

Nope, they had hydro MTD's, we actually have a newer one, ('06 ish I think) the crappier MTDs had the varidrives though, it is a far inferior system.

Everybody nags on hydros until you do snow removal or loader work. It’s rather enlightening lol.

I've said this before as well, when you are mudding and going 50kmh gear drive is great, but when you are actually working, hydros beat the snot out of gear drive trannys, and this goes for real tractors as well, I've only actually driven gear drive full size tractors but it is definitely more difficult to do loader work with a 5 spd international then with a hydro

im taking another set of framerails from a donor tractor to brace my frame. also i wonder if the hydro mtd tractors would be easy to transmission swap

welp the Wizard is ganna be getin a new engine soon i took er out yesterday and burnt a valve the she threw a rod right out the side of the block

I don't see the problem? you just have a single cylinder engine right?

No it has a vtwin what happened is it burnt a valve then the valve broke and busted the pistion and a rod and the rod and pistion went threw the side of the block ill try to get some pics posted of the carnage

I was saying if just one piston went then you still have the other one, that's why you have 2

Yikes that's not good! What are the chances of finding an identical one so you have some spare parts? A blown up motor can still be useful, it's a great way to practice porting, gasket/port matching and how to plane surfaces amoung other things. Blown up parts make cool wall hangers and paperweights too!
