| Well fried my starter today. A 750 amp deep cycle doesnt agree with it. Lol. Anyhow whrre osthe cheapest location to get a brand new starter for a 12hp flathead? | |

| It was starting to turn and I tried to make it turn over again it popped and smoked. Its not the motor being hard to turn because I can turn the flywheel by hand | |

| The battery is only the energy source. The starter motor can only draw what it needs.
Your starter is toasteroo, but don't blame the battery.
