Here is a pic playing in the snow.

I put an old set of tire chains on the Deere today so I can get to my cellar doors to take coal in.

the chains were a bit big, but it didn't seam to matter, this thing just drive through the snow like nobodies business. We have about 5 inches of fresh powder down at the moment. The only problem I had was steering, it just wanted to push straight.

I am thinking this will be a good candidate for a snow plow, that will put more weight on the front end and should allow me to steer better.

Sweet lol. Chains are awesome to have in snow. I was gonna get a set for mine, but in this nice powder we have my semi-bald ATV tires actually grab quite well!!

It is a tough little tractor, I am amazed how much I can put it through.

The only issue I have with them is the reverse is slow. When I am plowing the drive way it takes a long time to get back to the starting point.

@DICE464: I think they are belt driven. But they hook up pretty good. I put mine in 5th gear and pop the clutch and can get a little air. Thats without trying. Shocked me the first time it happened.
