Also putting some Greece in the plug boot and wires helps to. Plus I may never go above the flywheel because I don't want to risk anything.

Yeah sorry you use lithium grease and it helps. Couldn't think of what is was called. I use it on my atvs for when I go in deep water.

I got all of my metal for my railings, bumper, and seat so if the weather holds up I can finish all of that later and start cutting wood for the deck so I can mount the seat and consul.

Got all but 3 of my railing uprights in and bent up the railing. Mother Nature isn't on my side right now so I can't finish but if it lets up I will try.

Thanks this rain has been keeping me from building and stopping me from taking my dragster out to the track.

This is an action shot of it. Forgot to say it's a half scale but still does 0-60 in 2.6 seconds and I'm only aloud to run 7.90 at 85 mph in the 1/8 mile. There a lot of fun but at 16000 starting cost and $7 a gallon for methanol and burning a gallon in four passes it gets expensive quick. Plus you have to pay for entree fees and constant oils changes. But it is one of the only way a 8-16 y/o kid is strapping into a drag car legally

Ok back on topic. I got all my railing tacked in and my bumper tacked. I messed up a bit in the front with the angle but I'll probably just leave it. Project Corbett buggy - Page 2 Image36
Next time I get to work I'm going to install my deck and consul so I can build my seat.

Well today I got a little more done by cutting and putting on the deck and mounting the engine on better. Still need to trim and paint the deck before it's fully done and ready to be bolted on. I'm coming really close to my deadline to get this thing done by May 22 to take it on a trip and I think I'm not going to make it or it's going to be really close.

Well I'm back at working on this thing again.
I got the seat mounted, steering in, and got my headlights drilled in and ready to be finished once I get a battery in. I still need to run my shifter and clutch but that should only take a day to do. I found some diamond plate that a neighbor was throwing out that used to be a bed topper for a truck to cover some of the buggy, the rest I'm going to do black carpet or something else on it.
