I Wish I even had snow, Im hoping the small little snowfall we got today will stay and then I can get some pictures:) All our snow keeps melting a day or two after it falls:( I want to see how the plow works on my tractor:)

id weld the rear end, i had mine welded and 25 12 12 bear claws on it i could go as far as four wheelers, if anything farther because the tractor was skinnier and didnt sink in the ruts left by the four wheelers

did you ever have a problem with the rear end after you welded it?. I just nervous about it blowing up on me

Aren't the spider gears from the single speed pearless' used to lock the 800's like mike has?
They don't necessarily have to come from a single speed, they just have to match the ones in the transaxle... for example I used gears from an 800 to lock my 900

DB - with those meat hooks on the front- you need a trans up there - id look into a 4x4 setup. I planned on a 4x mod for the agway - with the atv wheels front and back, i should be able to carve thru some mud n stuff quite easily. I dont plan on locking the rear trans in the agway , but could be a possibility- i have a couple scrapped trannys for the extra gears.
Breakage is a factor of either speed or offroad - i pounded the crap out of the agway when it was stock, it never gave me an issue, even when i found the trans was empty of oil ( shifted bit hard sometimes) .
Id do the non weld method, just in case you dont like a locked trans, it can be reversed.

yeah i actually did but i know what went wrong, when its being welded cover everything but the gears youre welding so the spatter doesnt get in the grease (best to replace it but i didnt bother because it was febuary when i did it) but the first time i welded it the welds broke and pieces of the weld, slag, and peices of the gears got in the grease so i welded it again but this time i welded the sh*t out of it so i knew it would hold and still didnt change the grease because i did it was mid febuary it was too cold and i wanted to play with it, i meant to do it but i never got around to it so about a year and a half later the tranny broke. it lasted me a long time, i was surprised with the abuse it took and i know if i cleaned the crap out of it id still have that tranny personally i think its worth it even if the tranny needs replaced every few years because to me its useless when i have no traction like that. i had this tractor before i got the four wheeler i have now so it was my work horse

Got a couple clips of snow in the backyard on the murray. Nothing great, but it's pretty much the first runs on it. First one is yesterday with just a dusting and no one to hold the camera. Second one was today with a little more snow and a cameraman.
