New snorkel and custom hood design for my mower

Here is a new design for my mowers snorkel it will go under my custom hood i am making with a functional hood scoop for the snorkel. I have one question about the snorkel, do you guys think it will be to much air flow with the 3in pipe reduced to 1 1/2in pipe. Tell me what you think

it should be fine man, what size motor is it?, im pretty sure that it will do just fine tho, if any thing the carb might need to be retuned to make it run smoother

prolly run about the same as if you were running it without a filter, i think all it will need is a tune up on the carb to adjust to slightly more airflow,

Also does anyone know of a reducer or what I should use to reduce it from 3in to 1.5in not sure what to use

go to lowes and piece together pvc pieces till its what you want. im goin to do the same thing when i make my snorkel

they make a rubber fitting that lows and home depot carry to that would do it, and have flex incase you flip

Ok thanks ill check into it I'm actually running radiator hose up to the 3on which is stainless and the custom hood is an engion cage to its made out of tubing

yea. i need to make my snorkel soon before i flood my engine out... almost did that twice now....

Ya I did that with mine before the stack and current snorkel I let it drain and started right up spraying water everywheres

Nice ya I have about 4 really good trails by me most have been built on, one is a mud hole and I've had my mowers buried over the engine
And my buddy got his full size diesel tractor buried in there took all day to get out

i went through a water hole halfway up my engine and got stuck with my hydro ... was fun pulling it out
