Hey guys. Junkstar told me to sign up so I figured I might as well as get to it and get on it!
So I got a craftsman 12.5 hp IC Briggs. So far it is completely stock except the engine has be re-done. I did take it with me to Pug's but it was just too slow being stock. Great for romping and so forth but too slow for hitting the InWoods 710!
Loaded up to Pug's!
I have a ton of the videos from that going up on my Youtube then I will probaly start in with the tractor and see what happens from there. Guessing first thing I'll be working on is a front pully swap. Just want to get some easy speed and still be able to use the lower gears for romping (lol if its as slow as 4-6th gear in 1st after the swap im happy)
Hey, welcome, what I would do for a pulley swap is a 4.5 on the front and a 5 on the back it gets me about 13 mph in 6th and good romping in 4th.
Also those craftsmans are good to work with, lots of space to put things but the steering isn't that good at anything higher than 10 mph so I would find a way to stiffen up the steering box!
P.S. If you want more info check out my craftsman rally thread.

There is a section in my build thread (in my sig) that goes over what Stretch44875 and I did to get our stock craftsman steering boxes stiffened up. Feel free to copy anything we have done
