Heavy Loads

So I'm pretty sure we all use our tractors for yard work and dragging trees around and whatnot, so I thought I'd put something out to brag about how much a load your tractor (or whatever it is) can take.

The golf cart. And we wonder why it breaks...


The JD. The load was so big I had to put a brick on it to keep it from falling out...

Not much for tongue weight with this one obviously, but here's my B-110 pulling a big gravity wagon:

Hmm, I don't really have any pictures of "heavy loads" I suppose. Gonna have to take some in the future so I can better contribute!

I tell ya, if this was a "Ground Work and Towing Broken Tractors" thread I could really make hay in here!

Hey, as long as it ain't an LT or GT, and it's an actual tractor that your towing, go for it. I probably should have said that you can put towing in here too as long as what's being towed is bigger than a GT. And no cars/trucks allowed.

Welp, I've only got a few pictures of the 110 doing road work, but before long, I can get a bunch of the 990 for sure.



This is a little over half a ton of gravel, I was able to tow it at about 13 mph. Not super impressive, but I've hauled over a ton with it before, but I can't find any pictures.





These are a little on the impressive side too.

Haven't done much with big loads lately, but just yesterday we took 4 350 lb loads of creek rock to fill in ruts in our drive way. Only problem was the 45 degree hills we had to take 'em up, so the stamped frame couldn't do it. Bailed out just in time to save the trans. Anyway, the EZGO ended up doing the job. We still have to take another 1200 lbs of rock up to finish the job.

Not much, but it's something. Garden tools, a bunch of wood, a little scrap, and 150 lbs. of cement.




Always make sure your tires are at -237 PSI when under a heavy load...

The blocks probably weigh around 25 pounds each so I’m sure they were a bit overloaded
