| I fought this problem with mine and still do on really cold days. It was a bad battery that caused the issue. I'll eventually put a car battery in one of these days. If your engine is like mine, a briggs OHV, these engines are hard starters anyway. | |

| Find one that has small bolt posts. Some have both regular posts and threaded ones. One of the batteries in my truck has both. | |

| Alright I finally got it running and once again Ive bent something smh and I didnt even make it to the trails. So I think I need to rethink my whole driveline idea cuz its always something with the driveline the breaks something   | |

| Glad it didn't break the transaxle. You might need more bracing on that as it looks awfully spindly. | |

| I wouldn't be surprised if the stresses from the bent bracket caused enough distortion in the trans to cause the bushings to bind.

| Take a look at modern roll cages, there mostly made of triangle arranged in squares and stuff....simply put, triangle at the STRONGEST shape. | |

| well I was thinking of just using a couple flat pieces of flat 1/4 in iron and welding them to fit so the bracket will be really strong | |

| take a look at how mine is brace, i can do a vid on it if you want me to, i took and rotated the brackets where they faced forward, then weld a piece of 1x1 sqare tubing to them where it fit taght againsnt the transaxle, then took and welded a piece of angle iron over that, then have a piece of 1x1 sqare tubing going up tp the frame and another going diaganoly to the frame, its really freaking dtrong | |
