Electric start and charging system from an old generator.

Finally getting to work on my electric start slash charging system. I am using the old generator that was on my tractors original 16hp Briggs. Its cheaper then converting the gx390 to electric start and puts out more amps for charging. I have a wire diagram that I am roughly going by from a old cub cadet.

I have the major amount of the wiring done. Even added a onboard air compressor. Just waiting on pulleys for now

Thats a cool idea, How do you have your driveshaft setup on that tractor? are there pictures on the Forum of it? That doesn't look like the tractor came stock with that drive train.

Yeah its stock. Its has a shaft drive hydro in it.

Dang. He's got on board air. Now all he needs is a train horn on the hood.

Well I think its a old yard man from the 70,s maybe. The original old 16hp Briggs dated to 70 some thing.
