lol i looked, but i cant find them switches around here, the ones with the light in them

I ordered my switches off ebay. If you look through my older posts on this thread, youll find a link to the ones I bought.

A break in the rain means its time to do some mudding! Must of had some 8' long rooster tails in front of me!

Once I build a brush guard ill mount some utility lights.

I also have two red marker lights that have a dual bulb in each, so i plan on having one bulb in each turn on when the headlights are on, and have the others hooked up to a switch that activates when the brake is depressed (gotta hook that up too).

I highly suggest a brake light switch from a motorcycle if you can lay hands on one. They are weatherproof, adjustable, and easy to mount and connect. Basically, it's a spring connected to a plunger so there's a lot of leeway for stroke.

I kind of was thinking of using a seat switch off a mower, but the motorcycle switch might work better. I have no clue when im gonna get the money/ steel/ time to do it though.

Well it didnt turn out as smoothly as I thought.



Literally as soon as I fell off I thought "poopie, I gotta take a pic of this."

I got it flipped over. No damage other than I lost a pin for the tie rod and my air filter is full of gas. Well, everything has gas on it really.









I found a soda can and took the tab off from it and improvised a pin so I could drive it back without the tie rod popping off. Other than a bit of white smoke and some rubbed/ scratched paint, shes all good.

Oh, and im fine. Just a scratch when a sapling whipped me.

in the first pic it looks like the fenders are not in the right spot? it looks like there is a gap inbetween the footboards and the fenders.

The original bracket for the reaer so I got one off a different Craftsman and they sit higher. So they dont connect right. Kind of prefer it actually, mud cant get stuck.

Happy its back! seems like you made that exhaust yesterday. Tire upgrade anyone?

The fact it started like it was ran yesterday after sitting for like 360 days is crazy. I have lots of big plans for it before August. Big one is electric, although im wondering if the 18 twin might get swapped for a 16 opposed. Not too sure.

And that STUPID LED switch has got to go. Oh my god. It works worse than before. lol

I noticed that. Its cool having all those toggle switches, feeling like you are preparing to start a plane or something.... "all systems powering up" LOL. i just chopped the safty switches out of the harness and the key switch works good for me.

It is. The switch just isnt up to par though, i need something more reliable. If I get a normal toggle ill get a small LED light to put above it or something and out it inline with the fuel solenoid.

I cant believe it is. I thought the carb would have crapped up or the gas would have gone bad but it runs just as good as when I parked it. Major luck.
