River Airboat

My first boat  .  It uses a 13hp Lifonda engine coupled to a 50" prop (made from a 2x6   ) and has 38"x8' hull.  I won't be able to test it in the water until next next weekend because of studies  .  I can't wait to test it, I haven't boated since I was a wee young'in lol.

Cool. I made a small boat out of plywood once just messing around, but it ended up being too narrow which made it tipsy. Let us know how the testing goes.

Update.  Well the engine and tower assembly is too heavy for the 3 foot hull to the point where I only get 2" of freeboard near the transom   .  Quite scary especially when turning lol.  So this summer after school ends and before my internship I'm going use my little 5hp Honda as a long tail mud motor, churnin water is so much more efficient than movin air.  The 13hp will be put to use in the Muskrat where I can now use the heavy duty horizontal input transaxles  .
