Cool carb setups

So I was wondering if any of you have done any cool carb setups on a briggs Oppy, as I want to do a dual progressive carb setup on mine but I have no clue where to start. I have also thought about bastardizing a v twin 2 barrel carb onto my Oppy manifold for better performance. But I am just looking for some cool ideas.

I was going to put dual carbs on mine. I was thinking of crossing the manifolds so the carbs are in front of the opposite cylinders. Then you have a little length and keep the carbs close to the engine.

my ideA was make a new manifold that will house dual carbs, and make a flapper valve on one of the carbs so that it basically will kick in when you need it like a 4 barrel carb on a car. It would be difficult but cool

Might not be too hard. Just have to make a progressive linkage hooking the two carbs together.

Only problem is that I don't know how to do that... That's why I was hoping to get some cool ideas!

Some guy on Facebook, bob Morris, has dual snowmobile mikunis. Has a balancer box in the throttle cables. His video camera picks up sound worse then a potato so it's hard to hear throttle response. I'm doing a v twin dual barrel nikki carb on my oppy.

I was going to put a picture on here, but apparently the picture site isn't working at the moment or something. But anyway, Just link your two carbs together with a rod. Your throttle, be it a foot pedal or whatever hooks directly to the first carb. Then a link from carb #1 to carb #2. At carb #2, the rod isn't hooked directly, the rod (with a stop on it somewhere) slides through a hole. Then when you hit the gas, first the #1 carb starts to open, but #2 carb doesn't. The linkage rod is just sliding through the hole at #2 carb until the stop picks it up. Then both carbs open. That's the basic idea, you just need to have all the angles set up and everything so that both carbs can open fully. Search around on the internet a little, maybe someone has a better explanation of how it should be set up than I do. If I happen to find anything on it, i'll post a link.
