transfer case locking help

Hi I am tring to lock my transfer case on my snaper lt 12. the main problem is it is a spur gear stile. normal all the info is on a normal spider gear one. for a wile i thought i needed to weld the axles where they are nearly flush.

note this is not my image it just is a photo of the differential.

I would think if the gears operate anything like the peerless 633a's (the gears have the same arrangement) you could just weld the two sets of gears together. Im not positive on this though, since pretty much every diff/transmission/transfer case is different in some way

Weld the small gears together, thats best way

you could also invert one ove the small gears per pair.
